Antike Elektrolokomotive E | Die 6-achsigen Elektrolokomotiven der Baureihe E 94 sind als direkte Weiterentwicklung der Baureihe E 93 zu betrachten, die bereits ab 1933 an die Deutsche Reichsbahn ausgeliefert und zunächst von Kornwestheim aus eingesetzt wurden. Ab 1940 wurde die leistungsfähigere und mit einer Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 90 km/h deutlich schnellere E 94 als Zug-, Vorspann- und Schiebelokomotive im Güterzugverkehr eingesetzt. Bis zum Ende ihrer Einsatzzeit im Jahr 1995 wurden die Lokomotiven mehrfach umgebaut, ab 1967 wurden sie im Rahmen einer Hauptausbesserung mit Generalüberholung (HG) umfangreich modernisiert. - Realized with Pictrs.com
