Burg von Bled | Die Geschichte der Burg reicht weit bis ins Jahr 1004 zurück, als der deutsche Kaiser Heinrich II. das Bleder Besitztum dem Bischof Albuin von Brixen schenkte. Damals stand an der Stelle der heutigen Burg nur ein romanischer Turm mit einer Wehrmauer. Die erste Burg wurde dort ungefähr im Jahre 1011 gebaut. Die Burg wurde jedoch nie von den Brixener Bischöfen bewohnt, weshalb es dort auch keine prunkvoll eingerichteten Kammern gibt. Der Schwerpunkt lag vor allem auf dem Verteitigungssystem. - Realized with Pictrs.com
